She began her medical career at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she completed her undergraduate studies in Neurobiology, followed by her Doctor of Medicine degree. Her pursuit of knowledge and excellence did not stop there; she continued her training with a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, a prestigious institution known for its rigorous programs and high standards.
Returning to the University of Washington for her specialization, Dr. Tiwana completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Her board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography illustrate her expertise and her commitment to staying at the forefront of the field.
