Micah Robert, APRN

Micah grew up in rural Arkansas with four siblings. The Ozarks are where he learned to love the outdoors. At 17, he enlisted in the Navy and attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, earning an associate degree in Spanish studies. While in the Navy, he met and married his wife. After being honorably discharged, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at the University of Central Arkansas and shortly after moved to Alaska for rougher mountains, snow, and ocean. He worked as an emergency department RN in Ketchikan and Anchorage. Micah earned a Master of Science degree in nursing from Georgetown University as an adult and geriatric acute care nurse practitioner. He holds national certifications in emergency nursing and trauma nursing.

Micah enjoys cardiology and working with a skilled team that cares about patients. When he’s not at AHVI, he enjoys spending time with family and endurance running, skiing, hunting, fishing, and tinkering with gear.
