Amanda Bailey, APRN, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Ala., and her Master of Science in Nursing from South University, Savannah, Ga. Amanda is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She was an ICU nurse and oncology nurse practitioner before joining the general cardiology team at Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute in January 2021.

Her family lives on the Kenai Peninsula, where they have resided for more than 17 years. When not providing excellent cardiovascular care to the people of Alaska, Amanda enjoys time with her husband and daughter, especially when camping and fishing.
