Sarah Bilak-Larson earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2007, specializing in cardiovascular and critical care. After obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing degree from UAA in 2014, she built a career as a nurse practitioner specializing in nephrology. Sarah excelled in both outpatient and inpatient settings and contributed to nephrology research before returning to her cardiology roots and joining the team at Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute in September 2023.

A lifelong Alaskan, Sarah enjoys international travel and embraces the beauty of her home state through hiking, camping, and backpacking adventures with her husband and their dog, Ellie.
