Oluwafemi A. Adisa, MBA-HCM, MSN, APRN, ACNPC-AG, CCRN-CSC, is an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in cardiology and high-acuity cardiovascular care. With more than 10 years of nursing experience in intensive care, cardiovascular intensive care and cardiothoracic intensive care settings, he brings extensive expertise in caring for critically ill cardiac patients.
Femi earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from West Texas A&M University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of Lublin in Poland. He also completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Associate Degree in Nursing at Pasco-Hernando State College. He is certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and holds Critical Care Registered Nurse and Cardiac Surgery Certification credentials through the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
Originally from Nigeria and raised in Tampa, Florida, Femi first came to Alaska in 2017 as a travel nurse. Drawn by Alaska’s natural beauty, strong sense of community and the opportunity to serve patients across the state, he made Alaska his permanent home in 2024. He joined Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute because of its commitment to providing specialized cardiovascular care and improving access for Alaskans throughout every stage of their heart health journey.
Outside of work, Femi enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, exploring Alaska on road trips, staying active and learning about different cultures. He is also a proud father who values family, personal growth and serving his community.
