Geoff Mittelsteadt, MS, ACNP-BC, is a highly experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who brings 17 years of specialized expertise in intensive care, medicine, bariatrics, and trauma/critical care to AHVI. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his Master of Science from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. In addition to being an ACNP, Geoff is also a Certified Emergency Nurse.

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Geoff retired from the U.S. Air Force after a distinguished 28-year military career, where he served as a leader, mentor, and educator in various capacities. Geoff was drawn to AHVI because of its alignment with his medical and critical care background, as well as the organization’s mission, commitment, and involvement in both the local community and throughout the state.

In his personal time, Geoff enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs at their cabin up north, fishing, and appreciating Alaska’s natural outdoor beauty. His military background and extensive healthcare experience make him a valuable addition to the AHVI team.
