Danielle Carlson was born and raised in a small town in Alaska. From a very early age, she knew she wanted to help people. She graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage’s School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse (RN). After four and a half years in the Cardiac/Telemetry Unit at Alaska Native Medical Center, she knew she wanted to specialize in cardiology. Danielle went back to school and graduated from St. Louis Maryville’s Walker College of Health Professions’ Family Nurse Practitioner program with an emphasis on acute care. Danielle has experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Being a nurse practitioner is her dream job.
When not busy at work, Danielle stays busy with an active lifestyle. You can find her on the trails, doing CrossFit, and working on her family’s hobby farm.
