Dr. Gray Preceptor Of Year Award

Congratulations to Lisa Gray, DO, FACC, for earning the Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences’ Class of 2022 Preceptor of the Year award! Dr. Gray’s award distinguishes her as the students’ nominee for the Anchorage/Mat-Su region.

In commenting on her award, Dr. Gray remarked, “This is a team effort. Thank you, and congratulations to everyone at AHVI who worked to make this educational experience so great. I appreciate AHVI’s willingness to participate in medical education and of the efforts of all who help. Having these bright and eager students around is uplifting for the whole team. Everyone benefits—it’s time and effort well spent.”

Dr. Gray received her undergraduate degree from West Chester University, West Chester, Pennsylvania, and then attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, where she graduated with a Degree in Osteopathic Medicine in 1996. Her internal medicine residency was completed at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dr. Gray’s Cardiology Fellowship was completed at The Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, Pennsylvania in 2004. She is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine.

On behalf of our communities, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Gray for her spectacular efforts in guiding the next generation of physicians. Cardiology is an intensive field of practice with many serious responsibilities—making the attention and mentorship of a gifted teacher even more invaluable.
