We are proud to share that AHVI CEO Bob Craig and Linda Ireland, DO, FACC, represented AHVI and Alaska at the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Legislative Conference in DC this week!
This annual conference offers cardiovascular clinicians and care teams a chance to hear from ACC leaders, staff, and other experts on health policy issues affecting patients and the profession. Participants also have opportunities to speak directly with Members of Congress and their staff.
Topics of conversation included increasing patient access to care, increasing clinician well-being, and developing public health initiatives—amongst many more. Dr. Ireland is also on the ACC Board of Governors representing the Alaska chapter.
